No power bill, full family comfort
The system runs the home day to day, including 5 split-system air-conditioning units in the house and 3 in the portable building — 8 units across both. There is no grid electricity bill; generator fuel and servicing vary with weather and demand.

Blue Diamond GEN13FS water-cooled diesel generator (12kVA prime / 13.2kVA standby) for high demand and low-solar periods.
Inverters & power shed
Victron + Fronius
Victron MultiPlus-II 15kVA inverter/charger, Victron SmartSolar MPPT and Fronius Primo 5.0-1, with Victron monitoring. Housed in a dedicated power shed beside the home.
Future option
Mains power on site
Mains power is located at the front of the property, giving a future option to connect to the grid. The home itself runs off-grid and is not currently grid-connected.
